After his presentation, the evening will take on astronomic proportions when we begin a live telescope-assisted adventure through space. Our unique spot on the coast isn't just for beach-combing and agate hunting - it's a launchpad to the cosmos! Help Jeremy find the landing sites of three Apollo missions on the detailed surface of the moon, examine the exquisite spiral arms of our nearest neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy, and witness firsthand why some people claim Saturn's rings have "disappeared."

Description
This three hour experience is about making art as an intentional act of self-care. Not as a remedy for what ails us, but as a creative and healing practice for our ongoing aches. You'll learn how to make origami cranes and prayer flags and then you’ll choose during class if you’d like to craft your own paper crane mobile or set of prayer flags. All materials are included in the class fee.

Description
In this “playshop” format, students will learn the principles and basic skills of improvisational theater and comedy. Students will learn how to create characters and advance an improv theater exchange through physical and vocal warm-ups, theater games, scene work, skits and supportive coaching. Just say “yes” to honing spontaneity, imagination, collaboration and laughter—all of which are applicable to our daily lives.

This 75 minute contemplative movement class is an opportunity to move with and be moved by your own elemental nature. As the variety of music guides us through the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space, you may find your internal state of being changes as your movements change. No dance experience is necessary. No steps to learn other than listening to your body’s own wisdom and following what feels right and true for you. The music is not too fast, not too slow, but just right for the morning time.
